Our History:
R.C. Molding was incorporated in May of 1950 by a mold maker named Bruno Wessinger. In January 1952 Mr. Wessinger invited G. Palmer Humphrey to buy into the molding operation, which he named R.C. after his daughter Rickie and his son Carl.  At that time Mr. Humphrey was a materials representative whom Mr. Wessinger knew from the New York section of the SPE.  During the nineteen fifties R.C. Molding operated out of Floral Park and then New Hyde Park New York before moving to Farmingdale in 1965. They made parts for toy manufacturers and a variety of parts used in the manufacture of various consumer and household goods. In the late nineteen sixties our current President, William A. Humphrey joined the operation.  After "working all the chairs" on the production floor, he eventually took over the day-to-day operations. During the nineteen-sixties, seventies, and eighties the two families grew the company and expanded our customer base to include household and industrial applications. Our parts keep electricity flowing to and through your house and the processing lines running in other factories. They are in kitchens,  bathrooms, and instrument cases.  In 1994 Bill Humphrey dissolved the business relationship between Wess Plastic Molds and R.C.  He and several members of our staff in Farmingdale moved operations from Long Island to our current location in Greer, South Carolina.
